Earth Loves To Fix Things

Earth likes to fix things.  Our life, others, the world around us.  Earth people believe the problems are meant to be solved and there is an answer to everything.  How we see and work on our personal “fix it” project often come from our past experiences.  These include the places where we have felt the sting of hurt, disappointment or sadness. And like any human we like to avoid repeating those experience at all cost.  Earth likes to fix things and problems without hanging out with the emotion.  Getting busy on the doing is the perfect way to avoid and ignore the feelings.  “Just getter done” is what Earth people say as they move full steam ahead on fixing and solving every dilemma and problem.

Earth’s challenge is to incorporate their feeling body and emotions.
We’ve been taught that we have these dark areas in our subconscious mind that are constantly sabotaging us. In reality this part of your mind is an amazing resource that should be trusted. The trick is turning your past experiences that create the stories in your mind in to an ally. Meditation is a perfect way to silently sit and let your awareness observe past, and while recognizing you are also in this moment.

So make a commitment to sit in silence each day for at least 10. Quite your conscious mind – the place where you process your thought – and let your subconscious mind come alive. Invite in your mind to accept and love your as you are letting the stories of the past be forgiven and released. Your confidence and productivity will improve by develop a better connection with the deeper, core part of yourself.

Find a cozy place to sit. Support all parts of your body with pillows. Spend a few minutes seeing yourself as completely strong and confident. Then generate a confident feeling by remembering a time you felt that way. Then read the meditation below a few times. Gently breath in and notice what happens:
